  • Integrations

Eight years running digital products built by external technology partners, from a global tournament platform to the streaming, ticketing and identity integrations of a national federation.

Since 2025, Product Manager at the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation, where I own the integration side of three digital products: I write the specs, hold the vendors to their SLAs, decide when an integration is ready to go live, and track how it behaves once it is.

01 · How I run an integration

Scope, spec, go-live, then watch it

Every integration follows the same arc: agree what it has to do, write the spec, decide when it is safe to ship, and measure it once it is live.

Scoping and specs

From the first call with a partner to a signed-off spec: the API contract, the data formats, the error cases, who owns what. I write it with the vendor and the internal engineering team, not around them.

Go-live governance

Release criteria decided upfront, and the discipline to hold them. I stopped a launch days before go-live when membership validation was still accepting invalid input: the fix was worth the delay.

Reliability and vendor SLAs

Uptime, error rate, latency and support tickets are the numbers I track. I proposed a tiered SLA model for the Federation's partners: response times, weekly syncs, incident post-mortems and penalties for the core tier.

API and webhooks, at QLASH

At QLASH I defined the API and webhook layer of a tournament platform that reached 300,000 users. And I built TipKlub as Product Manager in the Fantasy Game and iGaming sector.

QLASH App

QLASH App · from MVP to global platform

Tournament platform · 2021 · 2025

I oversaw QLASH's tournament platform from MVP to a global product across mobile, PC and console titles, and defined the functional requirements for its API and webhook integrations: match results, matchmaking, tournament automation, coordinating directly with the internal engineering team.

TipKlub

TipKlub · Mindset Lab

Product Manager · Fantasy Game and iGaming · 2024 · 2025

A sports prediction app built with some of Italy's best known tipsters. I ran it from concept to launch and along the roadmap that followed, coordinating an external tech agency with the in-house team, and positioning it in the iGaming market.

03 · Digital products, seen as integrations

Three products, held together by integrations

Each one connects to systems owned by other teams or outside vendors. The product only works if those connections do.

SuperTennis+ su telefono, tablet, web e TV

SuperTennis+

Streaming platform · subscription

The Federation's streaming service, on phone, tablet, web and TV. Rebuilt as a subscription product, connected to identity, membership and payment systems owned by three internal groups.

  • SSO between the streaming identity provider and the federal one
  • Membership webhook, and the existing-subscriber migration
  • Subscription and payment flows, multi-store release
  • Terms, privacy and cookie compliance, with the legal office
App Internazionali BNL d'Italia: statistiche match e mappa del Foro Italico

Internazionali BNL d'Italia App

Consumer app · live event

The tournament's official app: schedule, live scores and match statistics, players and the venue map, for a crowd on site.

  • Ticketing integration with the official ticketing partners
  • Sports-data and streaming API integrations
  • Privacy-critical areas identified and driven with Legal: on-site push, geolocation

myFITP

Federal app · eSports section

The app every FITP member uses for their digital card, profile and rankings. The eSports circuit runs inside it, in real time.

  • Real-time sync with the game developer's systems, over a self-registration webhook
  • Two technology partners: the tournament engine and the app build
  • Single sign-on with the other digital services of the Federation
04 · eSports, a live integrated product

A circuit that runs on an integration

Since 2026 the whole federal circuit runs inside the Federation's app, synced in real time with the game developer's systems. When that sync is late, the competition stops.

FITP eSeries by BMW

The Federation's official eSports circuit, played on Tennis Clash and co-organised with its developer WildLife Studios, with BMW as main sponsor. FITP is the first Italian sports federation to create a dedicated eSports membership.

Registration, the Player ID and match results all pass through one integration between the app and the game developer's systems.

What I run
05 · AI in the workflow

AI, built into how I work

AI is part of how I work, not a separate chapter: assistants I built for the tasks that come back every week, and two products I took to market on my own with its help.

Personal project

Assistants for my own work

Internal assistants · used weekly

Built around the work that comes back every week and takes the most time: preparing briefs, reading long documents and pulling out what matters, turning meeting notes into decisions.

Grounded only in a knowledge base I curate, always sourced, and what comes out is a draft a person reviews before it is used.

AstaCerta

Paid web app · live

A paid web app that helps a fantasy football league agree on the date of its auction. Designed and built end to end with AI-assisted development, and live with a subscription tier.

CalcoRALore
Personal project

CalcoRALore

Free tool · live

A calculator that turns an Italian gross salary into what you actually take home. Every figure comes from the official tax registers, down to municipal rates, each one carrying its source.

In short

So what do I actually do?

I trained as an engineer and I get hands-on with the technical side: I write the spec, agree the contract with the vendor and the internal engineers, review what they deliver, and decide when the integration is ready to go live.

I have not run a casino or sportsbook aggregation estate, and I am direct about that. What I bring is the integration lifecycle itself, with the vendor governance that comes with it, and eight years in gaming and regulated gambling, on the commercial and product sides.
